Oh boy, I’m so tired.
We had a half day at work which was wonderful. I wish every month had a Labor Day. Then I went back to my Parents’ place to pack up my stuff since we’re trying to sell it. Geesh, I have so much stuff. I brought my camera with me so I can snap pictures of things then throw them away instead of keeping everything. I’m a sentimental pack rat. But I still left with many boxes and I’m not done yet.
I ended up spending hours sitting on the floor reading old letters and cards. Some made me teary-eyed and some made me laugh out loud. It’s weird to be transported to the past and relive those old emotions. I’ve forgotten so much of the details. What a trip. But I realized that I shouldn’t keep some of those letters anymore. So… goodbye.
I bruised the bottom of my left foot yesterday when I got tangled in a cord and scraped my foot on a shelf by my bed. Dang, it hurts when I walk.

i do that too! to get rid of stuff that has sentimental value, i snap pictures of it then get rid of them! yeah… i have a box of old letters. i went through them a few months ago and threw out ones that i didn’t want to have anymore. funny…
hope your foot gets better soon! sounds painful…
me too, me too.
yay! we are many!
I’m glad you could let go of some of your stuff. It’s hard for me to throw things away becase I like to go through them and laugh and cry about things that happened ages ago. I know it’s kinda dumb to do it, but hey, it’s what I do. Snapping pictures before throwing is a great idea!
yea, my mother told me about caroline! i’ll go read that article, thanks!
i also enjoy reading past letters and cards. they definitely dig up some good old memories.
ouch, a bruise on the bottom of your foot1 i have a hard time throwing sentimental stuff away too.
aww… i like taking those little trips down memory lane too!
i always do that too – take out old letters and notes and read them – i love that!
my mom found an old box of letters from when i was young, and my old high school friend and i went through them one day and couldn’t stop laughing and reminiscing.
