Volume
I remember taking notes for a Deacon meeting a few years back and Deborah came in to ask Dr John something. She was probably… 4 (?) at that time. She didn’t barge in the room and scream “Daddy! Daddy!” like some big kid did last week. Instead she knew how to whisper. I remember being so impressed.
I went in for jury duty on Wednesday and we were waiting in the room waiting for the orientation to start. It was so quiet in there. A lady turned on her computer and the computer sang a tune. And she went, “Shhh. Shhhhh. Shhhhhhhh.” to her computer. That was funny.
Then we were all waiting in the hall to go into a courtroom. Maybe 60 some of us. Everyone was quiet, no one talking to anyone else. But there was a girl on her phone talking in normal volume, pacing up and down the hall. “Oh my gosh, like, yeah… Well, anywho…”. After a while she hung up the phone and sat down on the floor and said, “Booooorrrrrriiiinnnggggg. Boooooorrrrriiiiinnnnnnggg.” Yes, she said that out loud… to herself. And then she started to sing, “Du du du du du du du…”.
Jury duty was amusing. Too bad I didn’t get on a case though.

i had jury duty, but didn’t even make it in to see the judge.
excused for a year now.
hmm, i haven’t done jury duty in a while. watch, summons is coming next week. haha.
that girl was waiting for someone to react to her and start up a conversation. or, she just thinks she’s too cool. OR, she just has no tact.
really? you want to get on a case? whenever i’m on jury duty, i hope they never pick me.
i never get picked…i think they usually kick out pastors.
awww, too bad!
I hate people who talk too loud on their cell phones. No one needs to hear your business!! Argh! It drives me crazy. Everytime I see some stupid girl on the phone while working out, hogging a machine or doing the elliptical, I want to kick her in the face. Seriously.
Whew, got out my aggression typing that!
hahaha, i like the lady shushing her computer. muahah.
i like the cd!
i just served too. it was an interesting experience but i’m glad i didn’t get picked. most folks in my group behaved normally… no weirdos for amusement.
