  • S and I went out for dinner the other day and overheard a little boy say to his mom, “Thank you, Mommy, for everything.” I was like, “Awww… did you hear that? That is soooo sweet!” S, with his super ears, said, “You didn’t hear him get prodded?” So this is how the whole conversation went:

    Dad: What do you say?
    Kid: Thank you.
    Dad: Who are you thanking?
    Kid: Thank you, Mommy.
Mom: What are you thanking me for?
Kid: Thank you, Mommy, for everything.

    Hahaha!

  • lol my son says stuff without prodding though.  One day I was busy doing something on the computer and he comes running up to me and plays for a while.  Then suddenly he lies down beside me and says “guess what mommy”  I said “what buddy?” he says “you’re the sweetest and I love you”.  I did a double take and said “awww thank you baby.  You’re the sweetest too and I love you too” and he kissed me on the nose.  Isn’t that the sweetest?

  • lol! nice little observation ;)

  • haha! nice! such a good manner..
