  • Wow, hi! It’s been a long time, xanga. The last time I wrote in you, I was still pregnant.

And in a week, on Father’s Day, N will be a year old!

Whoever said that having a child is like having your heart walk outside of your body should get the grand prize.

N is toddling now! It started out as accidental little steps as he was playing. He’d get this look of, “Waaaiiitt… I don’t know how to do this” and fall to the ground. Now he is starting to take more steps and still falling… more confidence in his steps and less care about falling. He falls a lot. He still crawls most of the time.

I think to myself everyday, “He is so amazing! And God is so amazing!” A little cell becoming a personality all his own? This amazing, wonderful, lovable, adorable being who hugs, smiles, hides, cries, kisses, plays tricks on us…?!

Just amazing. I am so blessed I get to be his Mom.

  • hahaha i love this! … wait! i want to hear about the tricks he plays on you guys! haha how cute!!

  • @MREDH - noah loves to put things in his mouth, and he’s so fast too 1) he will put his hands in his mouth and make a chewing motion. we’ve found him eating things he’s not supposed to many times so we will pry his mouth open. but he was just messing around. when we go to open his mouth, he will laugh. 2) when i take him for a walk in the evenings in the bjorn, he will sometimes rip off a petal from a flower and try to stick it in his mouth. i watch him carefully to make sure he’s not eating it. he will try as many times as he can to get the petal in but i will block him. then he learned to point at some random thing for me to look. and when i do, he will stick the petal in his mouth in lightening speed! this may be a coincidence? but it’s happened a few times. can’t believe i get tricked still! what a sly one. haha.

  • I decided to to finally check my xanga and catch up on everyone’s blog…only to find out that nobody’s written anything for a year and all are just beginning again!  VERY belated congratulations to you on your still new baby…a toddler already!  WOW!
