  • Wow, I received a really nice compliment this morning.
So I'm putting it down here to refer to in the future when I have a bad attitude or feel like what I do is blah...

"Thanks, Judy. You're really good at your job. You make it so easy. I really appreciate you."

    Yay!

Besides that, what a crazy multi-tasking day today is! I keep forgetting what it is I was working on if I toggle away to a different screen. I have 24 windows open.

More tomorrow about the silkworms. They didn't eat much yesterday. I wonder if it's b/c the leaves are drying out. I'm so sad. So sad.

They're like my babies. The first thing I do when I wake up is to check on them to see if they've eaten and if they need more food. I think about them at work. The first thing I do when I go home is to check up on them. I make sure their living area is clean, their food is clean. I hope they grow to be big and strong.

Sam likes to imitate things; like funny poses on DVD covers, a beetle... and now, a sleeping silkworm. It's funny.

    Okay, time for lunch!

  • you are such a serious pet owner. are you available to babysit my turtle? (just kidding)
i hope they get their appetite back. maybe you can keep some extra leaves/branches in water until you need them, so they stay fresher.

  • *giggle* Sam's funny alright! XD hope the silkworms make it :O

  • silkworms are cool.

  • I LOVE silkworms!! I wished I could get one. I remember I had hundreds before. Where did you get them and where can I buy some?

  • do you think they will have silkworm babies?

  • compliments are nice.
you are also a good caretaker of your silkworms.

  • Put in some new leaves! I change the leaves about every 24 hours.

Oh, they might be getting ready to shed their skins. Don't bug them when they're 'sleeping' because they might get stuck in their skins and not shed.

It's funny because they pop off their face masks first, then wriggle out of their old skin.

Mine are getting REALLY FAT. I will see if I can make a venture into youtube one of these days, but they go through the large leaves in a jiff.

  • whoa.  i haven't heard the word silkworm since i was a kid.

  • will you make silk from them?
