  • I'm wearing a skirt today that I've had for probably 15 or so years. It was actually a hand-me-down from my cousin Elsa. I don't have an older sister, but do have some older girl cousins. And I must say, I have some pretty trendy-dressing cousins. I can't believe I still fit into it. It probably went out of style for a few years, but it looks pretty good again.

Whenever my Aunt Lily would come visit us, she'd bring us stuff. She is a gifter. When we lived in Taiwan, she used to send us boxes of Fruit Loops. Of course back then, we didn't understand the concept of eating cereal with milk. We thought it was just a delicious dry snack. Also, when we came to America, she gave us some twizzlers and said we could eat it. I thought to myself, "Americans are weird, they eat candles?" Hehe. I took a bite, and it tasted waxy, too!

Anyway, she'd always bring a few articles of clothing for us. Most of them were hand-me-downs, but in good condition. She'd take out a bag from her suitcase, and when she opened it, it would smell like cherries and clean laundry mixed together. Sometimes she'd bring us food or snacks. One time she brought over meatballs that she cooked and froze in Ohio! She's the oldest of 6 kids, the rest all boys, I think that's why she's so motherly.

Yes, I'm at work still. And yes, I'm procrastinating again.
I feel like a major bottleneck this week at work... and here I am, thinking about fruit loops and twizzler?!
Judy, think "consolidation", "testing", "fixed funds", "vendor payments"... ugh, now I have a headache.
I'm just so tired and mentally drained. How long will this go on for?

I wonder what they're serving for dinner tonight.
