I finished reading The Time Traveler's Wife yesterday. I've been reading a bit here and there for the past few weeks. So it was neat when I woke up one morning last week realizing that I had just dreamt that I myself was a time traveler!! I no longer remember the details, but it was definitely exciting and different. I traveled to the future as well as the past. I hope I have another of those dreams.
If my older self was to visit the current me, I wonder what she would say to me. I wonder what life would be like in a few years. Will I still be working where I am now? Will I have children? Where would we be living? "Time will tell." Sometimes I love that phrase, sometimes I'm not so fond.
I'd love to go back in time and visit my Grandma in Taiwan. Or pop in on Sam as a young child. And then one day he'd tell me about how he met me when he was small and how we were meant to be together. Haha. I'd love to attend my Parents' wedding. See how they grew up in their different homes...
Anyway, it was an interesting read. Onto the next book: The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I saw it at Wal-Mart a couple weeks ago and it looked interesting. But I didn't want to pay so much for it. Imagine my surprise when I found the same book in great condition at our annual book fair at work last week! I only paid $2! Score!
Happy Thanksgiving week, everyone!Gobble gobble!
