Sam and 2nd Grade Student's conversation:
Student: I remember the 10 plagues in order!
Sam: You did?! Good job, how did you learn it?
Student: I asked my dad to print it out for me.
Sam: That's great!
Student: Has Judy remember her books of the bible yet?
Sam: No, not yet.
Student: Still?!
Sam relays their conversation to me:
Sam: You better learn your books of the bible. I'm sure he will ask you again. And you're going to lose credibility, hahaha.
Judy: I can't believe he asked you again. Well, at least I can find the books in the bible faster than he can!
Oh man, I'm being schooled by a second grader!
We start teaching them again in June. I'll have to show him that I can do it, too. I've got a month. But oh, I have such bad memorization skills.
