  • merbabyMy sis-in-law invited me to go to the Renaissance Fair last weekend. There were so many people dressed up. I really felt like I landed back in that time; it was surreal when I walked through the entrance. They greet you by saying, "Good day, m'lady" or "Good day, m'lord." I was so caught off guard at first. We watched some shows, but I loved the joust the best. The Italian knight was handsome but he didn't win. It was super hot though and dusty. I stayed out in the sun too long and ended up getting some new freckles and swollen elbows the next day.

Vendors were lined along both sides of a winded path selling food, costumes, jewelry, pottery, paintings...

We came across a booth selling paintings of fairies and whimsical creatures. I was captivated by this one, "Merbaby". So nurturing and beautiful. I'm thinking of making a purchase. I sent her an email today to inquire. Yay.

You know how sometimes you buy an outfit to go with a pair of shoes? This picture makes me want to have a girl one day so I can put this in her nursery.

  • I have been to the fair 8 years ago. It was pretty fun but really hot dusty. I watched the way they make glasses. It was so beautiful. Pray about having a girl in future then, our LORD might just grant that to you.
