  • It was so weird at work on Thursday... I heard two of my co-workers sitting close to me talking and talking for a long time so I look over and they both had people sitting with them at their desks. They were transitioning their own jobs over to them. A group of contractors recently flew in from India to do the knowledge transfer.

    It all feels so weird.

But we are all very capable people and I know that we'll all land on our feet. The big projects are all over so I guess there's not going to be much action here anyway. We got together as a group last week for happy hour and toasted to brighter futures. Onward to bigger and better things!

P.S. I can now wrap my index finger around the steering wheel!
P.S.S. I just finished watching a Korean drama. It was SOO depressing!! My eyes are puffy from crying. They are like roller coasters for your emotions.

(Ahh! It's so late, I'm going to pay for it tomorrow.)

  • My father was saying how all the IT people at SCE are Indians too. He says it's weird as well. He is in charge of three people from India and he says they don't know the trade at all, but their cheaper than Americans.

I just hope they don't start outsourcing MY job. Frankly, I found that many Indians are about as friendly and personable as many Greeks, meaning unfriendly and unpersonable.

  • I tend to prefer Korean dramas over other Asian fare...

  • Yay for positive outlooks!
    REST YOUR EYEEEEESSSSS.

  • Hi Ting, how are you? I left a message a couple of weeks to see how you are doing. I'm sorry I haven't been calling or email you. I've been so busy with the boys. We are on vacation in San Diego, Ed and Jacob are swimming and Alex is taking a nap. I haven't been on a computer for about a month of so. I hope you are doing well. And yes, Korean or Chinese drama are depressing, that's why I don't watch these things anymore. Jacob used to asked me, why are you crying mommy. I tell him I'm fine...but then he crys because I'm crying. He's so funny and so sweet. Take care and I'll talk you next week after this weekend. See ya!
