Pet Peeve of the Day
When someone comes by my desk to talk to me but instead of looking at me to talk, they're looking at my computer screen to see what I'm doing. It's none of your business. This is similar but definitely less annoying/offensive than elevator eyes (where people look you up and down); both very intrusive.
If you want to look, then learn to be discreet! There was a girl at work that used to always look me up and down... she'd even move her head along with her eyes. All the while she is conversing with me just 2 feet away. I felt so violated. (No, she is not into girls. She just liked to check out what other girls are wearing.)

ugh, i hate girls like that and i hate nosey people. come to think of it, most people at work annoy the heck outta me. blah!

i forgot to say... sometimes i call them out on it and would say something like "hey, don't read my stuff; it's private!" or "is there something wrong wtih my outfit? what are you staring at?"
what if they asked, "can i look you up and down?" would you let 'em?
what if they asked, "what are you working on?" would you let them see?
yes, pet peeve indeed.

you can always invade their personal space. muahaha. jk.
