I’ve been listening to a lot of Korean music from those drama soundtracks. I can recognize some words here and there and that makes me happy. However, all this foreign stuff is also kind of frustrating b/c I want to know what they’re trying to say. So I decided to borrow some Mandarin CDs from the library. Oh!! It’s so nice to understand!!
I’ve been listening to Wang Leehom‘s Forever Love on repeat b/c:
1) I understand the majority of the lyrics
2) I love the bridge part from around 3:55
3) The sentiments are so sweet, so romantic! Things like:
- I need to cherish our days to come
- I want to study your smile each day
- I want to spend my whole life loving you
- From this day forward, you will be my reason for happiness (okay this is really sweet… but this is way too much responsiblity for any one person)
Ahhh, I want someone to write me a love song!!
Back in college, I used to come back from class and would discover anonymous love poems slid under my door. Sometimes there’d be a flower somehow taped or tied to the door. This went on for a while, it was fun! However, the person eventually revealed himself and … became a stalker. The feelings were not mutual, please go away!
Now, who is there whom I have mutual feelings for that can write me a love song? Hmm…

Lee-hom’s songs are great! I get moved by David Tao and Jay Chou’s music too. Too bad Willie isn’t into fobby chinese music. Btw, have you seen Lust Caution? We watched it…hmm…Tony Leung. =P
