We hired a temp for the week to help us with some stuff for year-end.
He saunters in with a zipped up hoodie, with the hood over his head. Okay, not too professional.
However, he does things right and is making progress, so that's what matters.
I show him how to do things more efficiently so he starts getting comfortable with me and say stuff like, "Look at you go, girl." or "Hey, cool beans!" That's cool, I haven't heard "cool beans" for so long.
And then he calls me "darling". Now, that's just getting a little too comfortable.

ryc: yea, it was a little awkward. but it felt ok cuz he didn't remember who i was. for him, i was just another patient.
Cool beans is cool. Darling is weird, but less so if he's an older gentleman. is he?
