  • Need your help...
What kind of activities do you not need your eyes for?
You can look, but just not have to focus your eyes on an object.
Like... "reading" would not be a good answer. Or "knitting". Or "watching TV".

    Ideas?

but assuming you want to do something sorta physical, hiking? or worshipping/playing music (as long as you don't need music sheets). my other favorite activity is eating. haha

  • music!
    instruments!
    laying out!
    swimming!
    dancing!
    praying!
    talking on the phone!

actually... almost everything. blind people can totally function. why not knitting?... you can feel where the pattern is and which hole you're supposed to go through, no?

  • listening to music? going to a concert?  i hope your eye will get better soon...

  • taking a stroll around the block.  =)

  • snowboarding!  innertubing!  building snowmen!  sorry, as you can see i've been doing a lot in the snow lately.  those things do not require you to do much focusing, but you might want some sunglasses.

  • G took off his glasses during yoga this week.  He enjoyed it!

  • listening to music, yoga, treadmill, audiobooks, laying in a massage chair...i dunno, it's so hard not to use your eyes.

  • going for a bike ride in the park!

  • sex...I don't know why my mind goes there, but everyone seems to have listed everything else I was thinking of.
