It's been so hot these past few days.
I was slow roasted yesterday working from home upstairs in 101 degree weather.
I found a really cute dress a few months ago so I decided to wear it for the first time today.
It's an empire waist dress that's soft, flowy, and comfortable.
But this is what I get…
P: I didn't want to ask you in front of everyone…
P: Are you???
J: No!!
P: Sorry, your dress is deceiving.
J: This dress is confusing people.
P: Sorry.
J: It's okay. It's actually kind of funny.
P: I was like, "Whoa!"
Goodness, is my dress that much to have people "whoa" when there is nothing to "whoa" over?
I bet there are others speculating but scared to ask.

That's why I never wear empire waist clothing. People ALWAYS ask if I'm pregnant. Then I just get sad and think I look fat in it.
haha i dunno what it is about empire waist dresses that people automatically think that. i just avoid it altogether.
haha!
your little lamb icon is moving! that's so adorable!
whoa!!! haha...people should just stop asking. we're not even convinced if we want kids yet!
i wonder what people would think if an unmarried woman were to wear it. probably nothing?
sounds like a pretty dress. i stopped wearing a new wrap-tie tunic because people asked if i was pregnant. that thing has been in storage ever since. it'd be a shame to give up a nice dress!
haha! you are so funny, ting! :) sounds like a pretty dress, though.
I love those dresses, they're so comfy and cute. Can't believe it's so hot in SoCal. Luckily we haven't hit that temperature up here in NorCal yet. I'm not looking forward to it.
