• My big bro is back in town! I'm taking the whole week off!
  It's so nice; Allen being back and not having to work.

  
  

  Amy drove back to have dinner with us. We had buffet. Oh my goodness, I'm still so full. But this time they didn't have fried frog legs or the round sesame ball things with the red bean paste inside. Bummer. And most of us were also disappointed that the ice cream machine was out of order. What?! We (mainly my Dad and I) like to polish off the meal with it, topped with crushed fortune cookies. Mmm...

  
  

  It's nice to be together as a whole family.

  
  

  Also, happy 70th birthday to my Father-In-Law. Poor thing, he fell down last week... on his face! And knocked himself out as well as a tooth.  But he's okay. I'd so be popping pain killers right now. But he's such a trooper and doesn't complain. He just smiles at me with his swollen mouth and sleepless eyes, and grinds up his food in the blender. Poor thing.

  
  

  My Dad has a way of making people laugh.
  
  Dad: Why did you get up in the middle of the night?
  Sam's Dad: To get a drink of water.
  (Sam's Dad tells the story some more... he actually passed out for 1/2 an hour.)
  Dad: So... did you drink any water after you finally woke up?
  Sam's Dad: ...No. I got up and went back to sleep.
